Forum for Indian Christian Communicators (FICC), India

€ 10,300
Ref: 1458

In the 1980s WACC was instrumental in introducing the study of communication in theological education in India. This project addresses the need for an up-to-date textbook in communication taking account of sociocultural and technological change. Communication is recognised as a theological discipline and taught at the levels of Bachelor of Divinity (B.D), Master of Theology (M.Th.) and Doctor of Theology (D.Th.) under the Senate of Serampore College (University). What is lacking is a Communication Reader that covers the syllabus of both B.D. and M.Th. from an Indian perspective. This project aims to produce and publish a resource book written by and for Indian theological communicators.
