Call for application: Women Making Airwaves for Peace community redio Print E-mail

 We are very pleased to send you attached the call for application for the third Women Making Airwaves for Peace seminar that will take place in Bangalore, India from Feb. 13 to 18, 2010 in conjunction with the 2nd Regional Conference on Community Radio of AMARC Asia Pacific (Feb. 20-23, 2010).

Women Making Airwaves for Peace is a cross-cultural seminar for women community radio broadcasters on peace building, climate change and disaster management. It consists of experience exchange, skills training, framework development and radio production. Participants will be resource persons, trainers, facilitators, trainees and radio broadcaster at the same time.

We would like to encourage you to apply for this exciting seminar and forward this email to women who might be interested. A limited number of scholarships are available for women from Central and South Asia.
